#MyFourth Emoji Party


The emoji craze started with the iPhone but has quickly evolved into the retail, home decor and most of all... the party industry! We foresee the emoji trend continuing to thrive for years to come! We're so happy that the mermaid + unicorn emoji's exist but with the New Year we are hoping for a disco ball, anyone agree? 

We designed + styled this #MyFourth birthday bash last summer for a little cutie named Max. All he wanted was a room filled with emoji themed goodies for him and his friends to play with and our La Jolie Fête team was up for the challenge!

First, we created two hashtags for party guests to tag their photos with during the party, which allowed guests to upload their own photos to social media throughout the party and share their own memories with Max! Next was the statement wall, topped with a gold foil balloon hashtag phrase "#MyFourth" and overflowing with emoji pillows + air-filled balls for partygoers to take home this was a big hit among the kids. 


Our dessert table was packed full of colorful sweets + treats. The giant emoji heart eye cake and mini assorted cupcakes from Heavenly Sweet Sam were absolutely delicious and so fun! Almost too cute to eat *keyword almost :P


We found amazing DIY emoji necklace kits from Michaels and paired them with cute coloring sheets for each guest to decorate their favorite emoji. Outside, the kids enjoyed taking a swing at a giant emoji piñata filled with even MORE emoji toys + candy, filling their take home emoji cups to the brim with goodies for days! 

At the end of the party we asked Max if his emoji goals had been filled and with an enthusiastic "Yes!" we went home with smiles as big as the grinning-faced emoji :D
